One of Scotland’s leading photography groups, welcoming over 30 members each week. We have a packed programme including guest speakers, skill nights and competitions.

Welcome to Beeslack Penicuik Camera Club

We welcome new members and encourage those of you who may be interested in joining us to come to a meeting and learn first hand what we do, how we can support you to further develop your photography skills and meet like minded people in a warm and friendly environment.

  • Due to the after affects of Covid-19, our programme is a mix of meeting in person at Beeslack Penicuik High School or meeting via Teams. We meet Thursday evenings (Sept to April) between 7:30 and 9:00pm.

A link to the meeting will be emailed to members.

  • Membership is open to all new members throughout the year. Please visit the contact us page and drop an email to the club secretary who will offer you a very warm welcome.

  • The annual fee is £86.

  • Not al all. We have over 35 members, all of whom have different levels of photography skills, from the beginner to the professional. So we all have something to share and learn from others.

Getting involved

A variety of opportunities are available for you to become fully involved in your club.

Regular Club Outings

Members often organise social gatherings at various locations with other members to capture landscapes and wildlife. It’s a great opportunity to build friendships at the same time as developing your photography skills.

Contributing to our programme

Throughout the year, our programme provides opportunities for members to display some of their photography or AV’s to club members. Your involvement could be just a few minutes to a full evening. Please speak with the programme lead if you would like to become involved.
